Terms of Service
Effective September 7, 2026
These Terms of Service govern your use of cajunsites.com and your purchase of CajunSites website design, launch, hosting, and maintenance services.
Services
The standard CajunSites service includes website design and launch for the advertised one-time fee, followed by recurring hosting and maintenance at the advertised monthly rate. The standard website includes up to five pages and the features described on the CajunSites website. Work outside the standard scope may require separate approval and pricing.
Customer review and content
You are responsible for providing accurate business information and for having the necessary rights to use logos, photographs, text, trademarks, and other materials you provide. You are responsible for reviewing your website and identifying corrections before launch. CajunSites is not responsible for the accuracy or legality of customer-provided content.
Payment
The website design and launch fee is due according to the payment terms presented at purchase. Hosting and maintenance are recurring services billed at the advertised monthly rate. Taxes or other charges required by law may apply.
Domains
Your existing domain remains yours. If CajunSites assists with registering a new domain, the domain should be registered for your business and associated with your account. Domain registration and renewal fees, when applicable, are separate from CajunSites service fees unless expressly included in your order.
Hosting and maintenance
The monthly service covers hosting, SSL, backups, monitoring, and routine website content updates as described on the CajunSites website. Routine updates include items such as hours, services, photos, and contact information. New pages, major redesigns, custom application development, ecommerce, and other work outside routine maintenance may be separately quoted.
Third-party services
CajunSites may use third-party services for hosting, security, email, domain services, analytics, billing, and other infrastructure. Availability and functionality of third-party services may be subject to those providers' terms and limitations.
SEO and search results
CajunSites provides an SEO foundation as part of the standard website service. This does not guarantee search-engine rankings, traffic, leads, indexing speed, or placement in search results.
Cancellation
You may cancel recurring hosting and maintenance by contacting CajunSites. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the applicable paid service period unless otherwise agreed. Any unpaid amounts remain due. Site portability, transfer, or continued hosting after cancellation may require additional work or fees depending on the requested arrangement.
Suspension
CajunSites may suspend or restrict services for nonpayment, unlawful activity, abuse, security risks, or other material violations of these terms. We will use reasonable efforts to address payment or service issues before suspension when practical.
Intellectual property
You retain rights to materials you provide to CajunSites. Subject to payment and any applicable third-party rights, the finished website created specifically for you is provided for your business use. CajunSites retains rights in its reusable tools, processes, templates, code libraries, know-how, and other pre-existing materials.
Acceptable use
You may not use a CajunSites website or service for unlawful activity, fraud, infringement, malicious content, or activity that could reasonably harm the security or operation of our services or third-party systems.
Disclaimer and limitation
Services are provided on a commercially reasonable basis. To the extent permitted by law, CajunSites does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that a website will be free of every error or security vulnerability. To the extent permitted by law, CajunSites will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the services.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date above indicates when the current version took effect. Material changes will be communicated through reasonable means when appropriate.
